Saad leads Ranking ABCCA 2009

Endurance is a sport that demands time and patience Not just during the race or in the training of the horse, but also in breeding. Us breeders from Haras Endurance had to wait 11 years between importing Saad and seeing the incontestable results of his Brazilian offspring. However, 2009 has been the season of the stud’s stallion so far: besides the 3rd place won by his son Mágico Endurance at the World Young Horse Championship (160kms – Compiègne, France), highlight of the September edition of the international magazine Endurance World Online – EWOL, in Brazil his descendents have thus far guaranteed leadership in the Stallion Ranking of the Brazilian Association of Arabian Horse Breeders – ABCCA. The results of the 17 sons and daughters of Saad ibn Syed add up to 2,192 points, while the stallion in second place has 1,146. Of these animals, only 5 belong to the Haras Endurance Team, which shows the dissemination of Saad’s bloodlines in national endurance and the quality of the horses sold in the stud’s annual auctions.

Another interesting point in the Ranking is the 9th place won by Moubarak Tawfik, a stallion from the Stud chosen to cover the daughters of Saad. His offspring, although younger, are already beginning to show encouraging results.

1st - Saad ibn Syed – 2,192 points
2nd - LF Firewater – 1,146 points
3rd - Ekspresjon Rach – 966 points
4th - Aicyng Ahra – 834 points
5th - RSC El Deb Haran – 814 points
6th - Polonez – 786 points
7th - Nawwak NA – 765 points
